Détails du produit

The Bandpass Lens Filter 735 nm is a lens filter is optimized for near-infrared (NIR) imaging, transmitting light at a 735 nm peak wavelength while blocking unwanted wavelengths outside its 715–755 nm useful range.

It mounts directly onto a standard machine vision lens using the built-in filter thread.

With a broad selection of thread sizes, the BP735 can be matched securely to a wide variety of lenses, ensuring stable optical performance in demanding machine vision environments.

Overview of the BP735 Narrow Bandpass Filter

Narrow bandpass filters function by transmitting only a defined portion of the light spectrum while blocking all other wavelengths.

For the BP735, transmission exceeds 90% at the 735 nm peak, and stays above 80% across the 715–755 nm useful range. This corresponds to a 40 nm FWHM (±5 nm), providing a precise and controlled passband ideal for applications requiring selective near-infrared filtering.

Applications for BP735 filter

Designed for near-infrared imaging, the BP735 provides exceptional spectral selectivity, improving contrast and reducing interference from visible light.  In monochrome camera systems, the BP735 functions as an NIR-selective filter, transmitting only the 735 nm portion of the spectrum while blocking nearby wavelengths that degrade image clarity. This allows detection of fine surface details and NIR-specific features that are not visible under standard illumination.

When used with white-light or broadband sources, the BP735 produces:

• higher contrast in near-infrared scenes

• improved visibility of subtle textures

• reduced impact from ambient visible light

• stable, repeatable imaging results

These characteristics make the filter ideal for industrial inspection, NIR imaging, material differentiation, and precision measurement tasks.

Applications for a 735 nm Bandpass Lens Filter

• Near-infrared LED / laser illumination

• Surface inspection under challenging lighting

• NIR fluorescence and bio-imaging

• Material classification and sorting

• Detection of NIR-specific features or markings

Adding the BP735 Filter to Your Machine Vision Setup

Most machine vision lenses include a front-mounted filter thread, allowing the BP735 filter to be attached directly.

If you are using a C-mount lens on a GigE camera or USB3 camera, the filter can also be placed inside the C-mount connection instead of on the front of the lens.

Installed between the camera and the lens, the filter remains fixed within the optical path, ensuring stable alignment and consistent image performance.

These versatile mounting options make the BP735 easy to integrate into nearly any machine vision setup.

735 nm Bandpass Filter: Advantages

  • • High transmission at the 735 nm peak wavelength
  • • Strong blocking of out-of-band light
  • • Enhanced image contrast and cleaner signal output
  • • Stable optical behavior across varying lighting conditions
  • • Reliable, repeatable performance for precision near-infrared imaging
