The MARS-1222-178X2M is a 12-megapixel industrial camera with CoaXPress interface developed for high-end machine vision applications. It combines high image quality with fast data transmission, making it suitable for demanding use cases such as industrial inspection, scientific research, and medical imaging.

The camera uses a CoaXPress interface to transmit high-resolution images at high frame rates to ensure a reliable connection between the camera and the frame grabber. To fully utilize the Sony IMX535 sensor, the camera is equipped with a C-mount lens.

Monochrome Industrial CoaXPress Camera

A monochrome (black-and-white) camera provides several advantages for industrial applications. While color cameras are commonly used in markets such as security and telephony, industrial environments often benefit from monochrome imaging. These cameras offer higher light sensitivity, sharper images, and reduced data volume compared to color cameras, making them well suited for image processing tasks.

By choosing the appropriate wavelength and lens filters, specific product features can be emphasized. This allows monochrome cameras to produce high-resolution images with strong contrast, which is particularly valuable for precise inspection and analysis applications. 

MTBF, Warranty & Product Life Cycle

Each year, Daheng Imaging manufactures over 400,000 industrial cameras in accordance with strict quality standards. The cameras achieve a mean time between failures (MTBF) of more than 400,000 hours, equivalent to approximately 45 years of continuous operations. All industrial cameras are certified by TÜV Rheinland and are covered by a five-year warranty.
