This CoaXPress Frame Grabber is based on CoaXPress 2.0 protocol, simultaneously backward compatible with CoaXPress 1.0 protocol. The CXP interface adopts the CXP 2.0 standard and at a speed of 12.5 Gbps. The interface connectors uses Micro-BNC (HD-BNC) connections. There is1 channels on the frame grabber, which is used to transmit image data captured by the camera, and provide power to external PoCXP supported cameras. With the frame grabber 1 cameras can run at 12.5 Gpbs or 50 Gbps data bandwidth connection with a single camera. For the full specification of the framegrabber, please visit our download page.

PoCXP Power Supply

The polaris CXP framegrabber comes with onboard PoCXP (power over CoaXPress). This eliminates the need to connect an external power supply to connected cameras. For this functionality it is mandatory to connect a 6pin power supply (DC12V) to the board. Each channel of the polaris CXP can provide a maximum power of 13W within the range of 24VDC ± 2V.

Software

Designed for optimal performance with Daheng Imaging cameras, the Polaris CXP framegrabber offers complete compatibility with every feature included in the Daheng Galaxy SDK, providing a unified and powerful ecosystem for your machine vision needs. Only Windows 7/10/11 are supported.

Cables

Interfacing between the camera is done with our CoaXPress cables. We provide a range of length. They are all designed for the CoaXPress 2.0 standard are a guaranteed to provide the maximum speed available. Every channel of the camera that needs to be utilised needs his own cable. To operate a camera in a 4-channel configuration, four separate cables are required.
